Our wedding was an intimate affair and we planned it in just a few weeks, long-distance. Sparkfly was fabulous to work with, from beginning to end. We did all the planning by email and Skype and I (the bride) didn’t even meet them in person until the day of the wedding. They immediately felt like old friends though. We shoot weddings because we believe in them.
We shoot weddings because there’s so much that needs to be said on that day, and so much of it is more than words can say.
We shoot weddings because the story of your wedding is the story of your life, your love, and your selves.
And that’s a story that deserves to be told.
Conventional wisdom would say that we should focus on the aesthetics, but we’ve never been keen on conventional wisdom.
We got married at 23 and never looked back.
We’ve been freelancing a collaborative, entrepreneurial life for the past 13 years— with photography as a cornerstone.
We don’t do conventional. If you want conventional photos, we’re not your photographers.
The most important thing we’ve learned in 13 years of doing this is that the best photos are made when we’re courageous enough to get close, and find out what makes you tick.
And we’re really good at it— if you’re willing to meet us there.
