These Capitol Hill engagement photos have us all aflutter. As you’ll see as you look through the photos, these two are clearly in love and so clearly just themselves in these photos.
We wanted to capture Emily and Jonathan in their home turf, doing things they love doing together. So, we took advantage of the warm summer evening and walked around the neighborhood a bit.
Most couples haven’t spent a lot of time together in front of a camera. It’s just not an everyday thing. So, when it comes to engagement shoots (which we can’t recommend enough— it’s like practice for wedding photos!), we love to take a relaxed pace and give the couple time to get comfortable. There is usually lots of laughter and many sweet moments, making for affectionate and light-hearted photos. What more could you ask for in engagement photos?
