Dan is a lighting genius. He has the ability to look at the natural light in a room and know just where to add some extra light or just how to position the subject to create a gorgeous look.
Dan is also a master at creating the look an individual needs from their photos.
Creating professional headshots may sound like a fairly straight-forward task, but in reality, headshots can (and should!) vary widely depending on the industry and the individual. I’m excited to share a series of professional headshots over the next week or two. Not only are the people in the photos fantastic, talented people, but I think you’ll get to see a bit of Dan’s creative genius at work.
Today’s set of professional headshots are of an author and blogger, Mallory Larsen. Mallory needed some new photos for an update to her website. We headed out in Ballard on a chilly morning to make some fresh images that captured her spirit and personality.
Even if you don’t know Mallory, I’m pretty sure you can feel her spark and get a sense of how full of life she is. And this look was exactly what she needed for her site.
