We’ve been taking time to showcase our favorites from last wedding season: venues, ring photos, centerpieces, and shoes photos. Today it’s a venue—Golden Gardens, the park and the bathhouse, in Seattle.
Now, if you’ve ever been to the public restrooms at Golden Gardens, booking your wedding at the bathhouse may be the furthest thing from your mind when you think of a wedding venue. That is what I was imagining before we actually shot this wedding. I was surprised (and thrilled) when the wedding arrived. Not only are there private restrooms for guests, the part of the bathhouse that is rentable has been recently renovated and is truly, truly beautiful. And, in addition to the building, there are so many great features of a Golden Gardens wedding.
There are many lovely spots to shoot!
As you can see, we had so much fun with this couple and their bridal party, roaming the area just around the bathhouse.
And then there is the beach.
The bathhouse is lovely to be in, close to parking, and right on the beach with an unobstructed (except for the volleyball courts) view of the water. Just lovely.
And, no matter when your wedding is, there is a strong chance that you’ll be there when the sun is setting. And, that, friends, is hard to beat.
